The Details
Allie + Blake’s wedding will forever be one of my favorites I have ever had the honor of working! Not only are they both the most pure, kind and loving friends, but their day was full of the dreamiest and most intentional details I have seen. From stunning boho florals to a fun coffee bar and custom cups, they really thought of everything. However, my very favorite part of the wedding was the sentimental details that they added in. For their flatlay detail photos, they decided to include their new family Bible along with all of their stationary, rings, jewelry, and other goodies. For their place cards, they thoughtfully hand wrote thank you cards to each and every guest in attendance. Throughout their day, Allie and Blake both wanted to point everything back to Christ and this was so visible even in the tiniest details.
The Getting Ready Moments
Because she wanted to do a first look with her bridesmaids, Allie got the privileage of having a clear bridal suite and quiet moments alone with her precious momma to get ready to say “I Do.” It was such a sweet time captured entirely in candids. My favorite part was that Allie and her mom have the exact same facial expressions!! It was so cute to watch. Another fun detail of their day is that her getting ready robe had lace from her mom’s wedding dress on the back as well! She also did a sweet private first look with her dad, and her brothers walked her over to surprise her girls who all had the best reactions! Blake chose to get ready with the help of his groomsmen who were the best hype squad! But before the ceremony, he spent some time to pray with his parents and groomsmen as well. Allie and Blake also chose to do a private first touch so they didn’t see each other early but could talk and pray together before the ceremony. I even had the honor of saying a short prayer over their new marriage during this time! I was truly blown away by how intentional they were with all their time throughout their wedding day and how they set aside time to thank the Lord for His blessings and pray over the commitment they were entering into.
The Ceremony
A truly Gospel centered celebration of a beautiful new marriage. Everything about Allie and Blake’s ceremony left no one with dry eyes. From the moment the doors opened and she walked down the aisle to their truly joyful and giddy smiles as they ran out of the chapel as newlyweds, there were so many sweet moments full of so much love for each other and the Lord.
The Newlyweds
The new Mr. + Mrs. Marsh!! I just adore these two and cannot say enough good things about them. They are so full of joy, love and fun! Their newlywed portraits truly reflect who they are as a couple and show off their personalities and goofy side, as well as their romantic and sweet love for each other. Allie was truly the most stunning bride and it was so precious to get to watch Blake adore her all day long.
The Wedding Party
Not only were Allie + Blake’s bridesmaids and groomsmen so sweet and helpful throughout the day, but they truly celebrated with them through it all! The toasts were sentimental, but the moves on the dance floor were hard to beat. I loved getting to know their incredible friends and family throughout their dreamy wedding day!
The Celebration
The Marsh’s wedding reception was FUN! It started with a fun coffee bar hour with plenty of fun games to keep their guests mingling while they took photos. Followed by a yummy dinner and sweet toasts before it was time for the real fun to begin! Allie and Blake kicked off the night with a sweet first dance under the string lights on The Emerson Venue’s dreamy back patio space and they danced until the stars came out and then some. Their friends and family all joined in on the party and we all had a blast until it was time for their intimate last dance and dreamy sparkler exit! From start to finish, this day was truly so full of joy and I was so blessed to be a small part of it.
